On Febuary 21,2010 Master Madry traveled to Auburn Hills Michigan with eleven competitors from the Karate Institute of America. The group drove four hours to compete in the KI Challenge hosted by the KI Tang Soo Do. The event had about 100 competitors from around the area. Tournament was held January 30th in Erie PA. Six KIA students went to compete along with Master Madry . Many of these students were new to open outside tournaments.
