| SYMBOL MEANING: |
The sphere represents universality/unity (“No beginning…no end…”). The symbol in the middle had several meanings. Foremost, it is a modification of the combined letters K and I for Karate Institute. “Ki” is the Japanese word for spirit/energy (“chi” in Chinese. Also, the letters are meant to represent a student executing a punch.
