KI National Weekend Black Belt Testing

The 44th KI National Weekend was held on November 8-10th at the Cleveland Airport Marriott Hotel in Cleveland Ohio.

On Friday night over 100 people attended the KI Black Belt Testing . The candidates were Greg Sims  for 1st degree , Josh Peters, Kevin Salvadore, Joseph Rangel and Josh Peters all for 2nd degree and Jay Maki  for his 5th degree. The evening ceremony began with Grandmaster Madry introducing the testing board which consisted of Grandmaster Algene Caraulia, Grandmaster David Praim , Grandmaster Eugene Madry Sensei James Stuber, Sensei Luis Dabila , Sensei Tim Brandes, Sensei Julie Madry and Sensei Reggie Brown. The years of the board totaled over 250 years between the group.

The Candidates performed for the board and the audience for over one hour showing off the skills and their leadership skills. After the test the announcements were made as to the new promotions. The candidates all did a great job performing and showing why they were chosen by their instructors to be promoted.
