Annual Christmas Tournament

On December 15,2018 the Annual Munson KI Christmas tournament was held . Competitors from Cleveland Twinsburg and Munson  came to compete and enjoy the day. The competitors brought a can of food and the $25.00 fee to compete . All Proceeds and food were donated to local charities for the holiday.This event is in its 18 year.

Competitors competed in synchronized forms, weapons forms empty hand forms Chanbara (padded weapons fighting ) and points fighting throughout the day.\

The  synchronized was great to watch as the competitors from ages 5 up through the adults tried to move and stay together. Many different weapons were used to perform with on this day Swords, Bo Staffs, Sais, Kama and even a flg form performed by Sensei Josh Peters for entertainment purposes only.This performance and his suit was a highlight of the day. 

The Christmas tournament and party went on until 2 pm and was a big success.

I wish to thank all the students and families who participated in this event.
